OSU web site

Our Director of Coaching, Hassan Nazari has just returned from a week in Ottawa, Canada. Part of our affiliation with Ottawa South United Soccer Club is to provide training throughout the soccer year. From Monday through Thursday, Hassan spent time with several teams including U-9, U-10, U-13, U-14, U-15 and U-17 boys and girls. In addition, he spent almost 2 hours in discussion with the OSU technical staff with regard to training the younger and older age groups, coaching boys vs. girls, the system and style of play as well as organizational structure.

OSU coaching staff, players and parents were all very enthusiastic about the concept that the two clubs have created. According to Hassan, "I was impressed with the talent as well as the energy at the training sessions."

As the two clubs exchange players in the near future, Hassan believes that this type of affiliation will strengthen the game of soccer and its players. The Texans will provide different coaches for the various upcoming trips to Canada to give OSU the opportunity to work with a variety of coaches from the Texans organization.
