Dallas Texans Affiliation Benefits

1. Name and Brand Recognition – The Dallas Texans are the #1 ranked boys club in the country and the #2 ranked girls club in the country. The prestige and respect that Dallas Texans have from US Soccer, the USSF Academy, College Coaches, and major youth events (Disney, Nike Friendlies, Manchester United Cup, etc.) will automatically be shared with those affiliates.

2. The Dallas Texans is one of the most organized and professionally run clubs in the country.

We will assist our affiliates in administrative areas as requested.

3. Sponsorships – With affiliates in Dallas, Austin, Canada, Houston and San Antonio, the Dallas Texans have one of the largest member databases in the country. This will allow all divisions of the Dallas Texans to benefit from major sponsorships from the likes of Pepsi, Gatorade, Wells Fargo, and Nike.

4. Tournaments – Any tournament will not only be taking on a new name but will suddenly be attracting teams from all over the state. Simply put, when Dallas Texans sends 30-40 teams to our event, everyone else will want to get in on the action. The tournament will become a very good source of fundraising for any affiliate. Likewise, we will have the same caliber of competition when we take teams to Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio or Canada to share in the events run by our affiliates.

5. Website Upgrade – The Dallas Texans use one of the premier youth sports web designers in the country. This service will become immediately available to members. Please visit www.dallastexans.com to see for yourself.

6. Camps and Clinics – Nike sponsored camps and clinics will be available for all players locally and regionally as Nike and the Dallas Texans work together to provide new player development choices for all ages.

7. Professional Staff Increase – New fundraising opportunities will allow us to add additional staff members. This is a huge benefit as teams and players will get more individual attention at training and games.

8. Academy Festivals – Discussions are already in the works about Youth Academy Festivals that would be held in Houston, Dallas, and Austin. These festivals would create an environment for Academy players to play against players from Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas rather than the same competition every weekend.

9. Staff Coach Sharing – We have every intention to take advantage of the quality of coaching that exists within the Dallas Texans family. Coaches from Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas will occasionally come in to train our young players and give them a fresh approach to learning. Likewise, the affiliate staff will make trips to other divisions for the same purpose.

10. Guest Play Opportunities – This affiliation will allow players to guest play with other affiliates as they travel to events nationally and internationally, benefiting from the increased player pool for guest player selection.

11. US Event Acceptance – The relationship with the Texans will give new opportunities to our older teams to be accepted into events throughout the country that may have been a struggle previously to some of our teams. The Dallas Texans affiliation will see many of our teams accepted into: Disney Showcase, Nike Friendlies, Score at the Shore, Surf Cup, Manchester United Cup, Dallas Cup, Blue Chip Showcase, and many more.

12. College Resources – The Texans are extremely proud to have one the best College ID program in the country. The collective network of coaches within the Dallas Texans Affiliations will be unmatched by any club in the country. The Dallas Texans relationship with The Sports Source will provide a “college night” for Sophomore, Junior and Senior players and parents.

13. International Tours and Event Opportunities – The Dallas Texans international tours will give the players from all affiliations the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and play in prestigious international events such as the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Catalunya in Barcelona. Through the Dallas Texans relationship with Nike, some players and teams will have the chance to train with some pro-clubs and their academy coaches such as, FC Barcelona and other Nike sponsored clubs.

14. Online Player Profiles – The new website will allow players and parents a fresh opportunity to get their college resumes and profiles in front of thousands of college coaches.

15. Banquet - The Dallas Texans will assist affiliates with guest speakers for any club banquets.

16. Texans Summit – The Dallas Texans will have a Summit of all coaches as well as guest coaches every 3 years to exchange ideas.  This will include classroom and field sessions.

17. Online Store – The Dallas Texans will provide online shopping for all affiliates for its membership to purchase Dallas Texans merchandise.

18. Texans Calendar – A master calendar, coordinating all division schedules, will be compiled and distributed to better coordinate and support all of the affiliates schedules and events.

 19. Elite program – The Dallas Texans will coordinate an annual 3 day event showcasing the top players in the U14-U19 age groups.  College coaches, ODP and National team coaches will be invited creating great exposure for these players. The location and the date will be determined each year.

20. Texans Residential Camp – The Dallas Texans will coordinate a summer residential camp to take place annually featuring (national or international) guest coaches as well as Texans coaches. The time, date and location of the camp will be announce mid year.
